Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Review

For the past few weeks, I’ve been neglecting my hands. For that reason, they lack moisture and have become a tad cracked and dry around the cuticles. Well, Yu-Be was kind enough to send me a tube of their #1 bestselling Yu-Be Skin Cream a while back to try out and I decided this was a good time to test and get real results.

Description
From sephora.com:
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream soothes and moisturizes dry skin. This glycerin-based cream is enriched with vitamin E, vitamin B2, and camphor. Use it to smooth rough, dry patches on hands, elbows, knees, and feet. It softens and reduces tough calluses, including hard, cracked heels, and helps heal and prevent split cuticles. It replenishes lost moisture from water damage or frequent hand washing, helps heal and minimize scarring from burns, and protects and moisturizes skin exposed to cold, wind, and water.

Yu-Be comes in a 1.25 oz tube and also a 2.75 oz jar. The tube is white with an orange cap and is the perfect size to throw into your travel bag! The cream is yellow colored and thick in consistency. The camphor scent is strong upon application but goes away quickly as promised. Yu-Be promises to soften and reduce rough hands, elbows, knees, and feet. It also states that it’s a non-greasy formula that absorbs in quickly and locks in moisture for hours. The directions on Sephora’s site even state that it’s okay to use on lips!

Cost
$15 for 1.25 oz
$24 for 2.75 oz

Usage
Directions from sephora.com: Apply evenly on dry skin or lips as often as desired. For best results, use immediately after bathing.

I’ve used it on my hands during random times of day. I haven’t tried it immediately after bathing but I’m sure that would really help lock in moisture. I’ve also used Yu-Be a few times on my lips.

My Thoughts
Yu-Be managed to deliver most of its promises: it hydrated my dry skin, it temporarily helped my cracked cuticles, and its camphor smell didn’t linger as promised. I didn’t like that my hands looked and felt greasy after application though. Even after an hour after application, I could still feel some tackiness on the webbing between my fingers which I didn’t like. If that sort of thing doesn’t bother you then I’d definitely recommend this product because it lives up to the majority of its promises and really did help temporarily soothe my dry skin. I’ll stick to using this as a nighttime treatment now since I don’t like the feeling of the stickiness on my hands during the day.
