Shinoda Mariko will be starring in the live adaption movie of Ouran High School Host Club. The movie is based on the manga/anime of the same by Hatori Bisco about a girl who attends Ouran High School and is in the school's host club disguised as a boy. Shinoda Mariko's character will be a half Japanese - half Singaporean international student from Singapore, Michelle who is a spoiled daughter from a rich family.
Shinoda's character will also have long hair, so she will be using the help of extensions and due to being half-Singaporean her character will also be seen speaking in English.
Hmmm it'd be interesting to see her portray as someone spoiled and bratty because she is usually seen as AKB's mother hen.
The movie also stars Kawaguchi Haruna and Yamamoto Yusuke as the main leads Fujioka Haruhi and Suoh Tamaki respectively. It is scheduled to be released on March 17th, 2012.
