[Exclusive] DKPOPNEWS' exclusive Interview with Korean - Taiwanese singer Bii!

We were invited by Universal Music to attend Bii's fanmeet in Malaysia on 1st May.

Our blog's representative Yi Wen Cheah was given the opportunity to have a 1 to 1 interview with Bii,let's check out the content of the Interview here!

Becoming a singer was your ambition since you were young?
Bii：Actually my ambition was to become a policeman,not a singer


Who motivated you to become a singer？
Bii：My dad,he sings really well!


Your inspiration to compose songs?
Bii：Every single parts of my life


You have been singing sad songs like "Zhuan Sheng Zhi Hou",does it relate to your personalities?
Bii: Actually i am good in singing sad songs,maybe i am an easily depressed person,so i am not good enough in singing happy songs


What will you do when you are depressed?
Bii：Karaoke,will sing any song


Do you have any odd behaviour?
Bii:(After thinking for a while)…Listen to a song countless times,keep on repeating it for weeks,does that count！？


Why did you decide to debut in Taiwan
Bii:Taiwan provided me the opportunity,believed in destiny


The biggest change after you become a singer
Bii: Mentality changed,used to be mischievous。But after making my debut,i always want to show my fans a more matured Bii.




The craziest thing you have ever done
Bii：During high school，i spent 25 days walking around Seoul，we slept along the roadside and we had so much fun doing that


How do you interact with your fans?
Bii：Weibo,Facebook,i am a shy person,so normally i will use Facebook to interact with fans!




Anything else to tell fans?
Bii: Haha~i love u，aku cinta padamu, saranghaeyo,我爱你。。。Please show me a lot of support!


Bii also mentioned that he likes many KPop female groups such as SNSD,KARA,4Minute and Wonder Girls.Her favourite female idol is Goo Hara and he hopes to work with her in the future!

[DKP Exclusive] Jang Geun Suk Autograph & Photo Session

Having his first Cri Show stop in Singapore, Jang Geun Suk arrived in Singapore on 22nd April's afternoon and had his press conference session early in the evening.

It was a light hearted short press session, some questions of the day included one on his diet plans as previously when he visited Singapore, he was on a strict diet plan and did not manage to try a lot of the food here. In reply he mentioned that his diet plans were over and he is going to try the delicacies in Singapore during this stay. He also mentioned that prior to the press conference, he enjoyed chicken rice in his hotel room and would most probably be having pepper crab for dinner.

Other than that questions on his singing was also raised as he recently released a single in Japan. He mentioned that F.T. Island's lead singer Hong Ki helped him the most when preparing for the single.

After the press conference, an autograph and photograph session took place at crowded Marina Square atrium. Fans crowded around every corner of the atrium as well as the 2nd level of the shopping mall just to catch a glimpse of the idol.

Fans prepared well for this event, including a cake to wish for Jang Geun Suk's events to be a success in Singapore, a photo album which was presented to him as well as a lettuce dance as inspired from Mary Marry Me, the drama.

A photograph session took place after the autograph session. Fans gathered on stage in groups of 30 to get their photographs taken with Jang Geun Suk. There were not only fans from Singapore but also fans from Japan, China, Indonesia, Vietnam who flew all the way to Singapore for the event.
The day's event ended after the photo taking session and the Cri Show showcase took place the next day. We hope the rest of Jang Geun Suk's tour will be a success in his other stops around the other countries. We would also like to thank Colored Rhythms for this opportunity to cover Jang Geun Suk's events in Singapore.

[DKP EXCLUSIVE] Korean Idols Music Concert Press conference in Jakarta!

The Press Conference (Without the Performers) for Korean Idols Music Concert that will be hosted in Indonesia June 4th 2011 or known as KIMCHI 2011, was held today (14th April 2011) on Sands Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The KIMCHI 2011 that organized by W Productions and Tomato Tour will bring 5 Famous korean Idols to Indonesia at 4th June 2011. the performers consist of boybands(Super Junior, The Boss, X-5), girl band (Girls' Day )and also solo singer (Park Jungmin).

For this Press conference, Mr. Sean Sudwikatmono who was representing for W Productions while mr. Kim Hyun Ki who was representing for Korean Embassy for Indonesia.


At this time press conference, many questions were asked. Here i'm compiled the Q&A into one article:

Super Junior, Girls' Day, the Boss, Park Jungmin and X-5 will come to indonesia for KIMCHI at 4th june 2011. the event will be held at Istora Senayan. It was reported that the main artist is Super Junior and the others were suporting performers. All members of performers will come to Indonesia, so does Super junior that will come as a full-team (10 members).

The orders performers list is not yet to be decided, but Super Junior as Main artist almost certainly will be appeared the last since they are the main artist, and park jungmin will be appeared before them. the promoter W Productions was aiming for 7000 as the venue capacity is only for 7000.

It was also reported that each supporting performers will perform at least 4 songs, it means that Super Junior which is the main artist will be performing more than 4 songs. Mr. Sean (representing for W Productions) revealed that Super Junior is very excited for this event because they know that Indonesian ELFs have been waiting to see them , even watch their concert, Super Show in the other countries such as Singapore and Malaysia.The arrival for the performers still not yet to be decided.

For the tickets selling, W Productions stated that it will be opened to the public sale at 17th April 2011 at Grand Indonesia, the tickets remaining from sale on 17th Aprill will be sold online.

There was one funny question at the press conference, "Is there any request from Super Junior or other artist for this event?" Mr. Sean answered, "There's no special request but there's one thing that K-Artist always request if they come here. They asked us to prepare Kimchi (Korean dishes)" which is bring laughter.

There were three freebies that they have given away. First is a giant poster as large as that of the Korean version; second is an SNSD fan; and third, an ITWN Pin from GGPH which is only to be given especially for the first 50 people who will purchase the album.

Even before mall hours the Sones were already gathered outside and as the gates opened they hurriedly entered the mall grounds.
