Even after having over 48 shows under their belt, AKB48 is still not satisfied. They will have yet another new TV show and this time it's comedy themed.
The new show will air weekly on Hikari TV from September 29th (Thursday) and judging from the CM (below), they will be performing comedic skits. An example of such a show would be SMAPxSMAP by... SMAP obviously. Previous AKB48 shows always had someone else as the host but for the first time, AKB48 will be in full control of the show.
The show's title has yet to be announced, but recording has already begun.

Honestly, AKB doesn't strike me as a comedy group. So it will be interesting to see how this will turn out. Check out the CM below!
