JKT48 Joins Google+, Japan Pop Culture Festival Streaming

The 25 members of JKT48 have joined Google+ earlier this morning. Go add them to your circles now!

They will also be a streaming today (March 3rd) their JAPAN POP CULTURE FESTIVAL concert that took place in Jakarta on February 25th. A joint concert by AKB48 and JKT48, it was a full house attendance of 3,000 fans. The stream will be on AKB48's official YouTube Channel and on Google+, and will start at 19:00 to 20:30 JST. The JKT48 members will also host a hangout at 18:30.

In addition to that, 5 members of JKT48 will also be at the AKB48 Official Cafe Singapore in *SCAPE today. The 5 members are Ayana Shahab, Jessica Veranda Hardja, Nozawa Rena, Sonya Pandarmawan and Stella Cornelia. The event will start from 12:00 SGT onwards (exact time not announced), and admission to the event is free.


Well I certainly didn't see that coming. Both the members joining Google+ as well as the concert streaming. Have you added them to your Google+ Circles yet? Don't forget to catch their concert too later.

Currently none of the members have posted anything on their Google+ accounts, all of them just have the live streaming announcement. I wonder how the hangout will go later tonight? Almost none of the JKT48 girls can speak Japanese, and I don't think many Japanese speak Bahasa either.

I'll be attending the JKT48 cafe event in Singapore later on. In fact once I publish this post I'll be heading off to *SCAPE. I have no idea how this will turn out, this will be a new experience for me.
