My favorite perfume right now is Yves Saint Laurent's Parisienne. It's categorized under floral with hints of blackberry, damask rose, and sandalwood. It smells absolutely mesmerizing to me. Someone once told me that it made me smell like an old woman though... Well, to each his own. I think it smells nice. :)
Another perfume I like is Soapalaya's Basmati Rice. It's described as "aromatic as actual basmati rice, but, in the form of a soft, sweet fragrance you can wear! Basmati Rice is a little earthy, and, nothing short of pure delight!" It really is honestly very delightful.
Other old favorite scents of mine include:
- Givenchy Very Irrésistible: Floral; Notes of Centifolia Rose, Peony Rose, Fantasia Rose, Passion Rose, Emotion Rose, Verbena Leaf, Star Anise.
- Donna Karan Cashmere Mist: Woody; Notes of Lily of the Valley, Suede Notes, Bergamot, Ylang, Jasmine Maroc, Sandalwood, Orris, Amber, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk.
- Escada's annual(?) fruity release. The first of their scents I tried was Escada Island Kiss. This year's release is called Marine Groove. I haven't had a chance to test it yet but I imagine it's similar to every other years scent they produce since all the ones produced in the years before have been similar.
